Subzero (de_subzero) is a community-created bomb defusal map designed by Tanuki and FMPONE and is featured in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, added into the game in the October 9, 2018 update. It was later removed in the January 24, 2019 update.

Overview

Subzero takes place in an American naval base in the Arctic, owned by "Northern Expeditionary Reconnaissance Organization" and containing cargo of nuclear and biohazardous nature. Bombsite A is located near a fuel tanker, whilst Bombsite B is near a pipeline.

Trivia

• The Steam Workshop version of the map featured custom Arctic Avengers player models, but these were removed in the official version.
• One of the screens in CT Side Upper depicts a "VNN" news broadcast, referencing the Valve News Network^[1].
